Add-ons for World of Warcraft: Forever

Vulcan Suite

Four add-ons and a damage simulator for World of Warcraft: Forever. Three of the add-ons sync with your duo partner, and the fourth copies your character as text for the Forever Damage Sim. None of them plays the game for you.

Four add-ons and a damage sim

Each add-on is its own download, so install only the ones you want.

  • Kills, XP and gold per hour while you farm or level, with a combined duo gold rate when your partner runs it too.

    Details
  • Records your dungeon and raid runs on its own: clear time, boss splits, deaths, drops, gold and XP, with per-dungeon stats and best times.

    Details
  • Your duo partner's quest log next to yours: objective progress, quests one of you is missing, and a warning before you leave town.

    Details
  • Copies your gear, talents and stats as one line of text for the Forever Damage Sim, so your class's builds use your real gear.

How the suite is built

  • Display only, no automation

The add-ons read what happens and show it. None of them casts, targets or moves for you. In the game, they act only when you ask: Vulcan DuoQuest shares a quest when you click Share, press its key or type its share command, and Vulcan GrindWatch and Vulcan RunBook post a summary to party, raid or another channel only when you use their report command with that channel. Sync messages to your group go out on their own, and each add-on's page lists them.

  • Built for a duo

Vulcan GrindWatch shows a combined duo gold rate, Vulcan RunBook adds your partner's gold, XP, drops and kills to your log, and Vulcan DuoQuest puts your partner's quest log next to yours.

  • Open about what they send

Sync goes only to your own group (party or raid, plus instance groups for Vulcan RunBook and Vulcan DuoQuest), never to whispers, guild or public channels. Each add-on's page lists every sync message it sends. Vulcan SimBench and the Damage Sim send nothing.

  • Ready for a reported Forever client issue

The Forever beta client has been reported to sometimes fail to load add-on data. Each add-on notices a failed load and warns you instead of quietly starting over (unless every file fails at once), and Vulcan GrindWatch and Vulcan RunBook can back up your history and settings as text.
